Whitefeather Meats now offers fresh maple syrup produced by the Simmons Family
Farm. All the maple syrup is produced from sugar maples that are located on their farm. The Sugar Shack you see
in the photo is located on their farm and was built by Craig Simmons using lumber harvested from a single tree on
their farm. Craig and Stacy Simmons have three children, Ellyssa, Shane, and Blake. Stacy is the daughter of Freddie and Bunny
Perkins.

"Perkins
Apiary"
Perkins Apriary was started in 2006 when Fred and Scott Perkins developed an interest in keeping
bees. Their first colony was a gift from a local beekeeper and unfortunately did not make it through its first winter. Undaunted,
a new colony was purchased and placed in their new home on May 1st 2007. This colony florished and is still alive and strong,
producing nearly 70 pounds of honey in it's first summer. As of 1-1-08 we have currently sold out of honey. Lord willing
and bee willing, we will have more at the end of summer!
